Does the SXFI GAMER have Bluetooth®?
No. The SXFI GAMER is for wired connectivity, via USB-C only.
What devices can I use Creative SXFI GAMER with?
You can enjoy the full features of Creative SXFI GAMER across various platforms, including PC / Mac, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Android Phones.
Is the Creative SXFI GAMER compatible with all PC games?
Yes, you just need to configure the game audio settings to output audio for 5.1 or 7.1 speakers and to disable any built-in headphone virtualization feature. Also, remember to configure your PC to output 7.1 from the Windows Sound Control Panel.
Can I use the SXFI GAMER with an iPhone or iPad?
While the SXFI Gamer is not compatible with iPhones, it is compatible with the iPad Pro via the USB-C port.
Does SXFI GAMER require special content?
No, it works with all content, including your Spotify songs, YouTube in stereo, or actual surround sound content from movies. It will also work with mono content.
Can I redo my Super X-Fi profile by capturing the images of my ear and face another time?
Yes, you can do that anytime by tapping on the 'Personalize' menu item in the SXFI App. After you personalize your Super X-Fi profile again, you will need to plug in your SXFI GAMER to configure it with your new profile.
Does the Super X-Fi technology work in passive mode (line-in)?
No. Super X-Fi does not work in passive mode via line-in. The headset has to be powered by USB to activate Super X-Fi technology on your Creative SXFI GAMER.
How do I switch off mic-monitoring (side tone) on Creative SXFI GAMER?
The mic-monitoring feature is tied to the mute feature and cannot be disabled independently. The microphone is disabled when mic mute is activated.
